About Active Start Childcare
At Active Start Child Care, we’re committed to cultivating Active Minds and Bodies. Our Active Start Program® provides a balanced approach towards learning, by targeting the key areas of social, emotional, physical, creative, cognitive and character development. We do this by integrating Monthly Themes into all of our program areas.
One month, the children may be ‘On Safari‘, while the next they’re discovering ‘The Science Lab‘! As they rotate through exciting new themes, they also rotate around the centre’s impressive Mini- Gym, Play Climber, and Naturescapes Playground on a daily basis. By ensuring their bodies stay active, we’re helping their young minds to grow!

We offer child care programs for ages 12 months to school age. Please review our rates below;
12-18 Months*
5 days/wk: $770/month
3 days/wk: $617/month
2 days/wk: $412/month
Our fees are all inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch, Snack & our In House Nursery School Program).
Note: the above fees are the parents portion before subsidy but after the affordability grant has been applied.
19-36 Months*
5 days/wk: $738/month
3 days/wk: $591/month
2 days/wk: $378/month
Our fees are all inclusive (Breakfast, Lunch & Snack in our In House Primary School Program)

3 Years-Pre K*

A Typical Day at Active Start Childcare
A typical session at Active Start includes the following activities:
Breakfast, Opening Circle and Theme Story time.
Montessori Math & Literacy Learning time, together Reggio Inspired Art & Creativity.
Lunch, Physical Activity in Gym or Outside and Free Play.
Snack time, Music, Open ended art, sensory and exploration activities
